Supreme Court significantly expands time to file lawsuits over agency regulations

The Supreme Court has issued its opinion in Corner Post v. Board of Governors, holding that the law allows litigants to challenge agency regulations within six years of being harmed by those regulations, rather than six years from the time the agency finalized the regulations. This change, accompanied by other major Supreme Court cases this term, sets up the potential for a tidal wave of litigation against agencies in the coming years.
