Proposed limits for PFAS in industrial discharges head to OIRA

The Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs (OIRA) has just begun review of a proposed EPA rule that will likely add new effluent limitations guidelines, pretreatment standards and new source performance standards for PFAS to the Organic Chemicals, Plastics and Synthetic Fibers (OCPSF) point source category. The rule will likely be published in September.
