Senior Research Analyst

Scarlett is a Senior Research Analyst in AgencyIQ’s food and chemicals divisions. She previously worked as a consumer safety officer at the FDA, developing and implementing regulations and guidance for the safety of fresh produce. She also assisted with the development of education, outreach, and training activities for the produce safety program. In her most recent role, she worked as a writer/editor with the FDA’s Center for Drug Evaluation and Research developing public-facing editorial content covering regulatory and drug-related actions. She also has experience writing for several regional and national publications covering news, features, health, and fitness.

She holds a master’s in public health, a master’s in biology, and a graduate certificate in health communications.
