Manager of Research Operations

Karen is Manager of Research Operations for AgencyIQ and provides editorial support for life sciences as well as chemicals and food content. Before joining AgencyIQ, Karen was managing editor for FDANews, a daily online publication focused on drug and medical device regulatory news. She has worked for several large health insurance companies in public relations, advertising and corporate communications, including Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield, Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield and Blue Cross of Idaho. Karen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in philosophy and theology from Georgetown University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Pennsylvania State University. She lives in Virginia with her Coton de Tulear show dogs, Beau and Juliet.
