Deven graduated from North Carolina State University with a B.A. in International Studies, concentrating in Global Sustainability and Development. He studied abroad in Seville, Spain, deepening his interest in international affairs, public policy, and cross-cultural engagement. Born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, Deven now resides in Arlington, Virginia.
