Regulatory Background
- The Severe Violator Enforcement Program (SVEP) is a program run by the Occupational Safety and Hazard Administration (OSHA), which OSHA instituted to more effectively focus enforcement on employers who consistently violate OSHA regulations.
- The SVEP was born from a previous OSHA program, the Enhanced Enforcement Program (EEP) in 2010.
